Electromontaj Carpați S.A. Sibiu is an important player in the Romanian energy sector. With over 75 years of experience in the construction and maintenance of power lines and transformer substations, it is one of the companies that has significantly contributed to the development of Romania’s National Energy System.
Over time, the company has carried out construction and major repair works on more than 10,000 km of overhead electrical lines, 2,600 transformer substations and supply points, and over 2,500 km of fiber optic networks installed on 110–400 kV overhead lines. It has also modernized some of the most important transformer substations and connections both in Romania and abroad. In 2023, the company became part of the GRAMPET Group portfolio following the acquisition of a majority stake by Grampet Logistics.
